Blessed...

I am blessed in so many ways. I haven't always thought that I was, but when put into perspective, I am. It seems like sometimes I focus on what I DON"t have, or what I CAN"T do instead of what I DO have or what I CAN do. This Mother's Day has really made me see what I have, and what I am truely blessed with. For that, I am thankful.

I also wanted to write about the church that we have been going to. (I guess it's ok since I'm the only one who actually reads this, my online journal) I Love it! I love the pastor, I love his messages, I am falling back in Love with Christ. I am so happy about it. I am excited that as a family, we are attending church regularly. It is something that I have dreamed about for a while, but think that I was just too scared to approach it to my husband. To find something that we both can do. I want to share my life with him, which is what was talked about today. I'm so hopeful that this is a journey that will strengthen our marrige. I'm not just going to church either, I am enjoying, listening, reading along, and soaking in everything that I can. I want to be a godly example to my children, I feel like my eyes have been opened up to an entire world of living, and want to share it with my kids. I want to raise them in an environment that is safe, loving, and most of all, a world with God in it. (This world is just too scary without Him in it!) It just isn't about a Religion anymore. There is so much more to it. I have so much to learn about it though too. But, I just had to say that I am really excited about it. I can't wait till Sunday gets here! Even if church starts at 8 am!

Ok, and today...

So glad my babies are back!

So glad I had som R&R and now I have my babies again!! Glad that they had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Baitinger, although Simon had a tough time to start out, in the end everyone had a great visit.
...and I had gotten some of their scrapbook pages done :)

Today was filled with outside chores for Daddy, an eye appointment for me (along with overpriced frames!), lots and lots of outside playtime, and ice cream on sale!

Kidless + Chipotle, and Diet Coke=

a near perfect day! Gregg took the kids down to his mom's for the weekend. I knew I was needing some time to myself, but this weekend really has proved that. I miss my kids dearly, but I think that it is really important to have some refresher time. Time to regroup, time for myself...just time. I miss that. I love being "mom", but sometimes I just want to be Kristina. I think I might have to call on more family members more often now :).

So, what did I do all day? Well, I sorted and priced Olivia's clothes for our garage sale on the 15th, still need to do toys, but the clothes were a big item. Made some more baby food for the Si-man! He will now get to taste some zuchinni, and broccoli.

Cleaned...a little :)

And now, since it is National Scrapbooking Day, I think I will sip on my diet coke, and scrapbook a ton of pics!!

Can't wait to go to church tomorrow, and will be anxiously awaiting my babies to safely return home to me.

Because I don't want to forget...

How sweet my baby girl is...
How social she is, how she will walk right up to any little kid and start playing with them...
I hope the day doesn't come that she will be hurt by someone else's actions, or at least be the one to comfort her.

Just today we were at the park, and she walked right up and said "Hi Girl!" ...and started playing. I love my little girl.
Or this afternoon, she was in her room and came out running saying "I said Hi to the Girls!"...she was so excited to say hi out her window to some girls walking by.
I hope she keeps her social nature, she didn't get it from me. Here she is doing one of her favorite activities...

And of course I couldn't do a post without my favorite Si-man...I love how he crosses his feet!! :)

Apparently, this is what we are having for dinner...

Olivia loves to bring in "flowers" from outside, and while I was in the kitchen getting dinner ready, this is what she was up to! Totally creative, I love that about her. One of her imaginary friends came over to play...and eat apparently :)">
Simon has FINALLY started rolling from his tummy to back yesterday! It's about time for him. He really doesn't mind staying put. At night, he doesn't roll or move at all, he is in the exact same position when I come and get him in the mornings! I know I need to keep him being my baby as long as possible, mobility is one step further away from babyhood, but it is exciting, and it will be nice when the are both walking. I'm sure crawling is right around the corner, he likes to rock, but then lands on his face. Olivia started crawling at 8 mos (it was Superbowl Sunday!).

This is another one of my favorites...this boy is just so good looking! I just love how he squeezes his lips together!!

And we can't forget Miss O, and her "flowers"...:) So glad it is starting to warm up so we can play outside more often!!

Scrappin Saturday!!

So excited to go scrapbooking tomorrow with Angel!! Sometimes I just need a little get away time! But I will miss them while I'm away, and excited to see them when I come home. Really excited to get some more pages done, and ones that need to be finished. Also, since Beth lent me nearly all of her cricut cartridges, I'm hoping some pages will have a different flair to them. That, and since Angel and I go way back to CMSU days, it is always good to reminise. Although, there are lots that I wish to have done over. Good ole girl time really helps me remember who I am.
That's all I've got...pictures soon, I promise :)
